Honeybadger Documentation

Honeybadger is a service that watches your applications in production and lets you know about errors and outages.

When an issue occurs we'll notify you via email, chat or SMS and give you a context rich report to help you fix your problem and get back to doing what you love to do.

This documentation is organized into two sections. The first, "guides" gives you a brief overview of our web app. The second, libraries contains detailed documentation on each of our libraries.

This documentation site — like any documentation site — is a work in progress. If you can't find what you're looking for, please let us know.

  • Run bundle exec honeybadger test --file=honeybadger_test.txt from the server having the problem and attach the generated honeybadger_test.txt file.
  • Run bundle exec rake middleware from the server having the problem and attach the output as plaintext.
  • Attach your config/honeybadger.yml file.
  • Attach your Gemfile.lock file.
